• Gardening Manager
• Pay is $20-25 dependent on experience, FULL TIME w/benefits
• Sign on bonus of $500 after 60 days continuous work

Duties:

Coordinate and manage the

HANDS ON

gardening activities, including planting, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain lush landscapes and healthy plant life. There are others that help during seasons but you are ultimately responsible for these areas. Monitor soil health and plant growth conditions; adjust care routines accordingly to promote vigorous growth and vibrant displays taking appropriate measures to address, pests, fungi, signs of disease, or other problems. Apply fertilizer to grounds to enhance growth. Ensure that all plants and shrubs are watered as needed. Keep flower beds, walkways and paths are clean and tidy. Collaborate with Leadership during mulching season on implementation with Property Maintenance Manager. Weed and plant areas as needed. During large special venue events such as seasonal festivals, etc., help to prepare and take down areas for special events such as seating, flowers and shrubs, seasonal decorations, etc. Assist with certain Signature Events that may revolve around our Grounds and Landscaping. This IS NOT a mowing landscape type position. Requirements Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping or related fields with a strong knowledge of plant care and landscape design principles Manage vendors who works with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) as well as power tools safely and efficiently Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff if needed, effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment Excellent organizational skills to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively High attention to detail when weeding and maintaining the grounds. Able to communicate and collaborate with teams where efficiency can be increased all while being a team player with a team approach.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand for several hours, walk excessively, and climb hills outdoors.
• Must be able to lift to 40 lbs. for lifting and moving capabilities.
• Must be able to work out in the elements such as heat and cold during seasons.
