Full-Time About Us S.P.G.M. is as a leading professional grounds management company in Mt. Juliet, TN. Locally owned and operated for 25 years, we specialize in high-quality residential and commercial landscape and turf management and are looking for an experienced Crew Foreman to help lead our growing field operations. Position Summary The Crew Foreman is responsible for leading a 2-4 person crew in the daily completion of residential and commercial landscape and turf management services. This is a hands-on leadership role that includes jobsite supervision, safe operation of trucks, trailers and equipment, and effective communication with team members, customers, and management. What Are We Looking For? A well-qualified candidate must possess the following traits and skills: General landscaping installation and maintenance experience Minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory/foreman role General turf and plant knowledge Operational experience with skid loaders, trucks with trailers, and other landscape-specific tools and equipment Basic mechanical and small engine aptitude and/or repair experience is an advantage Ability to successfully lead a crew of 2-4 team members while actively participating in the job or project/installation Punctual and reliable, with availability to work seasonal hours, which may require long days based on the production schedule Excellent verbal and written communication skills A positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic Key Responsibilities Lead, direct, and supervise a crew of 2-4 team members on residential and commercial properties Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, seasonal cleanups, and other turf and landscape services Ensure high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and adherence to SPGM standards on every job Safely drive company trucks from site to site, including pulling and maneuvering trailers and equipment Operate and train others on landscape equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, skid loaders, etc.) Monitor jobsite safety, enforce company safety policies, and conduct basic equipment inspections Communicate job progress, issues, and needs to management in a timely manner Represent S.P.G.M. professionally with customers, neighbors, and the public Required Qualifications Valid Tennessee driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record 3-5 years of prior experience as a crew leader/foreman in landscaping, grounds management, or a closely related field Proven experience supervising a field crew and organizing daily work Demonstrated skill operating commercial landscape equipment and pulling/parking trailers Ability to read and follow work orders, site maps, and instructions Strong time management, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor (lifting, walking, bending) Preferred Qualifications Experience in both residential and commercial grounds maintenance Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting and repairs Knowledge of turf care best practices and plant/material identification Schedule & Compensation Full-time, typically Monday-Saturday Competitive pay based on experience Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
