This role leads crews, manages job sites, and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. You'll be responsible for keeping jobs on track, holding crews accountable, managing estimates and client communication, and ensuring projects are completed successfully—while maintaining a strong focus on quality and profitability. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape crews in daily maintenance and construction activities Gathering field information for estimates, presenting proposals to customers, and overseeing the successful completion of jobs Coordinate job schedules, materials, and equipment to keep projects on track Oversee installation and maintenance work, including planting, irrigation, turf, and hardscape elements Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations Train and develop crew members on proper techniques, safety practices, and efficiency Conduct job site inspections and enforce safety protocols Communicate with clients on-site to ensure clear expectations and satisfaction Track job progress, labor hours, and materials used Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and inventory Work closely with management to plan jobs, resolve issues, and improve operations Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Must have project management knowledge Must have excellent time management and record-keeping skills Must be able to take correction and lead within parameters outlined by the company Experience & Qualifications Proven experience leading crews in landscape maintenance and/or construction Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, including plant installation, irrigation, and general horticulture Ability to manage multiple jobs and keep crews productive and accountable Experience operating landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills with both team members and clients Physically able to work outdoors in varying conditions Verifiable landscaping and irrigation experience Must have a valid driver's license Clean driving record (must meet company insurance requirements) Maintain a clean, neat appearance and follow company uniform and grooming standards 3 years of verifiable supervisory experience Preferably have an irrigation license.
