This paid position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience overseeing landscape projects, supervising crew members, and delivering exceptional outdoor environments. As a key player in our team, you'll be motivated to grow your expertise in landscaping, drainage, outdoor living, irrigation and garden management. (no mowing) Responsibilities Pickup and deliver materials as needed. Support the coordination of landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are met As part of training, lead a small crew in daily tasks, providing guidance and encouragement to foster teamwork and productivity Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Collaborate with senior staff to learn construction techniques for hardscaping elements such as patios or retaining walls Operating equipment (skid steer, excavator, trencher, etc.) Ensure compliance with safety regulations and during all operations of the business. Must effectively communicate with client(s), team members and be able to read plans/drawings Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with landscape maintenance, landscape, irrigation or drainage is required. A strong willingness to learn is essential Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience in outdoor settings is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and operating equipment safely for extended periods Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety procedures Passion for outdoor environments and a desire to develop expertise in landscaping and horticulture disciplines Pay/Benefits $23 to $25 per hour, Paid federal holidays Up to 12 Paid Days off per year Family Friendly Hours - Mondy through Friday Cell phone allowance Life Insurance Accident Insurance Education Assistance $500
