We're looking for a Crew Manager who can serve the field and the client, someone who leads well, communicates clearly, and represents our company with professionalism and trust. Position Overview This role combines crew leadership , project coordination , and client communication . You'll manage daily operations in the field while also meeting with clients, creating schedules, and helping guide projects to completion. Because we are a smaller company, flexibility and a hands-on mindset are essential. Travel is expected, with most work locations within 1 hour of Elliston, VA . Key Responsibilities Lead, schedule, and manage a residential landscape/hardscape crew Coordinate daily and weekly job schedules using technology (email, shared calendars, and video conferencing) Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during consultations and ongoing projects Maintain site-presence, assist with estimates and project planning Ensure work meets company quality standards and client expectations Maintain a professional, trustworthy presence on job sites and with homeowners Communicate clearly with ownership regarding scheduling, materials, and timelines Uphold an emphasis on punctuality and communicated commitments Desired Skills & Experience Experience managing and leading a crew in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction Comfortable using technology for scheduling, consulting, and communication Outlook (or other email platforms) Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, etc.) Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to plan, adjust, and manage schedules efficiently Professional demeanor that reflects trustworthiness and a strong reputation Professional appearance on-site Strong interpersonal skills with both crew members and clients Willingness to travel as needed within our service area What We Offer A stable, long-standing company with a strong local reputation A focus on doing high-quality work , not rushing jobs Leadership responsibility with real input and autonomy Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity to grow with a company that values people, craftsmanship, and integrity How to Apply If you take pride in quality work, lead by example, and want to be part of a company that values long-term relationships over volume, we'd like to hear from you.
