Job Description

Intrinsic Property Services is a rapidly growing Landscape and Lawn Care company based out of Rutland, VT. This position is for a Landscape Supervisor here within the company. While summer is based in landscape design and construction, winter we morph into radical snow removal contractors. Please see below for position details.
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage a crew of 2-8
  • Demonstrate grade A communication, personal, leadership and organizational skills
  • Perform, teach and assist with any facet of landscaping/snow removal
  • Ensure any work completed is up to company standards, able to rectify if not
  • Assist with new landscape designs and manage installations
  • Engage and maintain relationships with vendors and clients
  • Oversee a safe work site and environment
  • Comprehend and follow schedules and timelines
  • Track and manage tasks via apps/cell phones
  • Manage inventory, stock and/or aggregate materials
  • Maintenance of Trucks, Equipment and Tools Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 60+ pounds
  • Clean insurable license
  • Previous snow maintenance experience, ability to plow/remove snow
  • Top notch landscape install and maintenance experience
  • Able to utilize pruning equipment, knowledge of how and when to prune
  • Knowledge of trees, shrubs and annuals/perennials, how to install/care for them
  • In depth knowledge of hardscape construction and aggregate landscape materials
  • General knowledge of excavation,grading and elevations
  • Excellent skill in driving trucks with trailers
  • Proficient in operating track loaders, mini ex and other heavy equipment
  • Able to problem solve and think quickly
  • Possess grade A communication, personal, leadership and organizational skills
