Position Overview We are looking for a skilled landscape construction technician to operate equipment and execute quality landscape installations. The Crew Tech is a technical expert who performs hardscapes, grading, and installations to professional standards, working independently without management or crew oversight responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities
- Operate construction equipment such as skid steer, mini excavator, and plate compactor.
- Install hardscape elements, including pavers, retaining walls, and natural stone, according to project specifications.
- Complete precise grading, base preparation, and drainage work.
- Perform installations independently, ensuring quality without the need for constant re-inspection.
- Train and mentor laborers on proper installation techniques.
- Conduct equipment maintenance and handle minor field repairs. Requirements
- Valid driver's license. We have 2 locations: Ixonia and Neosho - Make sure you can make the daily commute!
- At least two years of experience in landscape construction or hardscapes.
- Proficient in operating skid steers, mini excavators, and compaction equipment.
- Ability to read plans and accurately execute layouts.
- Keen attention to detail for high-quality installations.
