Full Job Description Landscape Sales Commission:
2% of all landscape Project sales, paid quarterly Commission is based on signed and collected landscape revenue Position Overview This role leads routine maintenance contract sales, landscape project estimating and delivery, and daily operational planning to ensure work is completed on schedule, on budget, and to Birchwood's standards . Sales & Estimating Sell and manage snow removal contracts and summer maintenance packages (lawn cutting, trimming, lawn applications, bed maintenance). Perform site visits, estimating, proposal creation, and contract close-out. Estimate and manage landscape projects from proposal through execution. Maintain strong client relationships and identify upsell opportunities. Operations & Scheduling Work closely with scheduling/logistics on weekly planning, routing, and crew assignments. Assist in route planning for maintenance crews, spraying routes, and snow operations. Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials. Project Execution Oversee job execution to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Communicate scope, timelines, and expectations to production teams. Address change orders, issues, and client concerns as they arise. Team Leadership Hire, train, manage, and terminate landscape production staff as needed. Set clear expectations for performance, safety, and accountability. Support crew development and maintain strong morale and teamwork. Quality, Appearance & Standards Enforce standards for crew appearance, uniforms, PPE, and job site cleanliness. Perform job site inspections and ensure consistent quality. Ensure equipment and trucks are maintained and presented professionally. Lawn Applications & Compliance Oversee lawn application programs and spraying routes. Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and environmental regulations. Financial Accountability Monitor job costs, labor efficiency, and margins. Work with ownership to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Role Overview:
This is a leadership role focused on landscape sales and estimating, project execution, and day-to-day operational planning. You'll be responsible for selling and managing landscape projects, supporting scheduling and crew planning, maintaining quality standards, and helping drive accountability, efficiency, and profitability across the company.
