Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Operations & Construction Manager (Landscape and Irrigation). This candidate must possess the ability to perform all landscape and/or irrigation tasks with minimal supervision in a safe manner and while overseeing a crew of three to five employees during the summer season. Provide year-round cross-departmental support, including the execution of seasonal winter services such as holiday lighting and snow removal. Responsibilities Consult with clients to define project scopes, develop comprehensive cost estimates, and present proposals for approval. Work with and oversee the Landscape Foreman daily to layout and complete the project in the proposed timeframe and on budget. Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout Oversee project budgeting, cost estimating, and resource allocation Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met Oversee daily work for two other single person crews. Assist the Holiday Lighting manager during take downs in the spring as needed. Assist the Maintenance Manager as needed. Assist the Gardening Manager as needed. Assist the Holiday Lighting manager and crews daily from Nov. 1st through Christmas or until snow removal begins for the winter. Oversee and perform snow removal duties and tasks Filling in for crew members who may be absent. Ensure that all landscape and irrigation vehicles and equipment are maintained and season ready, coordinating and working with the inhouse mechanic. Responsible for the cleanliness of all of the company vehicles and equipment year-round. Requirements 2-3 years proven experience in landscape/irrigation construction management Extensive knowledge of landscape construction site operations, safety standards, and blueprint reading Strong project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent contract administration and negotiation skills Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing diverse teams on complex projects Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Valid drivers license This role is essential to our success, requiring strategic oversight and hands-on coordination to deliver high-quality landscape and construction projects on time and on budget. Salary range 85-100k depending on experience.
