Apprentice Gardener

Apprentice Gardener - Cultivation Facility We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Gardener to join our cultivation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a professional grow environment while learning industry best practices from an experienced team.

Position Details Hours:

28-40 hours per week (flexible scheduling based on facility needs)

Pay:

$16-$18 per hour (DOE)

Herbal Dreams Key Responsibilities Assist with daily plant care including watering, pruning, transplanting, and trellising Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests, deficiencies, or disease Support harvesting, trimming, and post-harvest processes Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation areas Follow all facility SOPs and compliance regulations Qualifications Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Attention to detail and consistency in routine tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctuality Requirements Must already possess a valid Handler's Card to be considered for the position Must meet all Alaska and MSBSD requirements for employment in a cultivation facility Preferred (Not Required) Prior gardening, agriculture, or horticulture experience Familiarity with controlled environment agriculture (indoor grows, greenhouses, etc.) What We Offer Hands-on training and skill development Opportunity for growth within the cultivation team Collaborative and professional work environment Employee discounts
