Duties Perform landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers. Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf Operate hand tools and power tools safely for trimming, pruning, planting, and general landscape maintenance Use equipment such as excavators for larger projects like grading or site preparation Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture; familiarity with lawn care and landscape maintenance techniques Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot equipment like power tools, excavators, and snow plows Strong understanding of gardening principles and plant care Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Knowledge of safety procedures when handling tools and machinery to prevent accidents Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward landscape projects.
