Job Description

Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our Grounds Maintenance Team as a Landscape & Grounds Technician. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and presentation of the Club's landscaped areas, including the clubhouse, tennis complex, swimming pool, entranceways, and surrounding grounds. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating beautiful landscapes, and has a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing landscaped areas Maintaining clubhouse, tennis, pool, and common-area grounds Planting, pruning, hedging, and removing shrubs, flowers, and ornamental plants Identifying and controlling weeds through mechanical and chemical methods Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and other landscape products safely and effectively Maintaining beds and seasonal color displays Operating landscape equipment including string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and mowers Assisting with irrigation repairs and landscape improvements as needed Supporting golf course maintenance operations on occasion when additional assistance is required Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Qualifications:
Previous landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture, or golf course experience Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to safely operate landscape equipment Valid driver's license preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club offers a supportive team environment, opportunities for growth, and the chance to work at one of the Gulf Coast's premier private club facilities. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
