Groundskeeper

Foshee Residential Management Company, LLC ("Foshee") has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundskeeper team member in the Mobile, AL area. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and professional image. Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to): o Complete assigned service requests and repairs correctly and in a timely manner. o Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing broken fences, gates, or outdoor equipment. o Reporting any major repairs or safety concerns to the property management. o Maintain an excellent customer service relationship which may include answering questions, and addressing any concerns related to the outdoor areas and common areas. o Abide by the company's hazardous communication program and follow correct, safe work practices at all times. o Participate in company training meetings as required. o Collecting and disposing of garbage, litter, and debris from the outdoor areas. o Keeping the property clean and free from trash. o Monitoring for pests and taking appropriate measures to control infestations. o Applying insecticides or arranging for professional pest control services when necessary. o All other tasks as defined by the supervisor.

• Groundskeepers will spend most of their time performing hands-on grounds work.

The position requires:

o The ability to transport or move up to fifty (50) pounds variable distances o The mobility and flexibility to use ladders and to access and work in confined spaces or at heights in excess of nine (9) feet o The ability to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit o Position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. o This position requires the ability to serve on-call, 24/7, 365 days a year. o Equipment § The position requires daily compliance of wearing the company-specified uniforms, nametags and/or accessories. § Position requires individuals to be able to use general maintenance equipment including, but not limited to hand tools, pressure washers, shampooers, blowers, sandblasters, ladders, landscaping equipment and required safety equipment as outlined in the company's safety policies. o Essential Job Functions § Maintenance and upkeep of the apartment communities, outdoor spaces and common areas. Ensure that the grounds are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing for residents and visitors. Must have valid Driver's License and transportation.
