Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Diamondhead POA- Golf Course Maintenance professional, where your passion for landscaping and outdoor upkeep will help maintain a pristine, lush golf course environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the course remains visually stunning, safe, and playable by performing essential groundskeeping tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for golfers and visitors alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance while working in a vibrant outdoor setting. Duties Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep the course in top condition Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules Assist with gardening tasks like planting new greenery, mulching beds, and pruning trees or shrubs Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify and address issues related to turf health, landscaping, or safety hazards Support overall golf course upkeep by using hand tools for detailed work on bunkers, greens, and fairways Collaborate with team members to implement landscaping projects that enhance the course's aesthetic appeal Skills Proficiency in irrigation system operation and maintenance techniques Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and gardening fundamentals Experience with landscaping tools such as hand tools and power tools required for groundskeeping tasks Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues Knowledge of horticulture principles to promote healthy turf and plant growth Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe outdoor environment Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods Join us in creating an inviting and meticulously maintained golf course that players will love!
