Landscape laborer

Whether working on lawn care, planting, hardscape installation, or seasonal snow plowing, your efforts will directly contribute to creating stunning landscapes for clients and communities. This paid position offers hands-on experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction projects while fostering your growth in the green industry. Duties Assist with lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Support landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance plant health and aesthetics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features. Perform irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Support equipment maintenance and basic repairs to ensure tools and machinery are in optimal condition. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping. Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is preferred. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks. Strong attention to safety procedures when handling tools and machinery. Prior experience with irrigation systems or hardscape installation is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
