In this role, you will assist with a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure beautiful, healthy, and well-maintained outdoor spaces. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will contribute to creating inviting environments for clients and communities alike. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and construction while developing valuable skills in horticulture, equipment operation, and outdoor project execution. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as pathways and retaining walls Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf areas to promote healthy growth Support landscape maintenance activities including pruning, tree trimming, watering, fertilizing, and pest control Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision Help with equipment maintenance and basic repairs on tools like lawnmowers, trimmers, excavators, and irrigation systems Participate in snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for properties Contribute to site cleanup by removing debris, leaves, and waste from job sites to maintain a tidy work environment Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction Prior experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is a plus Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or other landscaping equipment is advantageous but not required Knowledge of horticulture practices including plant care and tree trimming techniques is preferred Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and outdoor maintenance Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions Join our team today to help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant environments!
