This job is prevailing wage. We are looking for a laborer with Experience in laying wet utility lines to grade and a general knowledge of the industry. The job is out of town with lodging provided. Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily operations by performing a variety of maintenance, cleaning, and equipment-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to use graade laser and level.. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our crew while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Duties Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency. Operate basic tools and testing devices, including an ohmmeter, to troubleshoot electrical components. Install Underground piping and components. Perform routine inspections of machinery and infrastructure to identify potential issues. Support the team in loading, unloading, and moving materials or supplies as needed. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve skills related to equipment handling and safety standards. Must have Identification and be able to pass background check Experience Prior experience working as a Utility Worker or in a similar maintenance/support role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with electrical testing devices such as an ohmmeter is highly desirable. Basic understanding of safety procedures in industrial or manufacturing settings. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational needs. This position is vital for maintaining operational excellence within our facility, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting overall productivity through diligent work and technical proficiency.
