California & Nevada Prevailing Wage & Non-Prevailing Wage Projects Available ONSITE Commercial Services, Inc. is a leading telecommunications construction contractor specializing in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Hydro-Vac Excavation, Open Trenching, Fiber Optic Network Construction, and Underground Utility Installation. Due to continued growth throughout California and Nevada, we are actively seeking experienced underground utility professionals, established drill crews, and motivated individuals looking to build a career in the telecommunications construction industry. ______________________ Positions Available Foremen / Crew Leads Horizontal Directional Drill Operators Horizontal Directional Drill Locators Equipment Operators Hydro-Vac Operators Class A CDL Drivers Laborers / Ground Hands Both individual applicants and complete drill crews are encouraged to apply. ______________________ Job Responsibilities Directional drilling and bore operations Open trench excavation and restoration Fiber optic conduit and utility installation Utility locating and potholing Hydro-vac excavation and daylighting operations Equipment operation including: Excavators Backhoes Skid Steers Compactors Hydro-Vac Trucks Loading, hauling, and transporting construction equipment and materials Joint trenching and back filling Installation of vaults, manholes, duct banks, and utility systems Traffic control and work zone safety Asphalt and concrete cutting, demolition, and restoration Daily project reporting and communication Reading plans, prints, and utility maps Maintaining project schedules and quality standards Foreman Responsibilities Supervise crews of 2-8 employees Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and office staff Material take-offs, procurement, and ordering Resource planning including personnel, equipment, and materials Ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements Maintain project schedules and productivity goals ________________________ Qualifications Underground utility, telecom, civil construction, or directional drilling experience preferred Knowledge of telecommunications construction and dry utilities is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to safely work around existing underground utilities Understanding of slope, grade, trenching, and excavation practices Experience with traffic control and public roadway work preferred Mechanical aptitude is a plus Preferred Certifications ClassA CDL OSHA 10 OSHA 30 OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
