Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter/Groundskeeper to join our apartment community team. The Porter/Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall curb appeal of the property. This position plays a key role in creating a positive living environment for residents by ensuring common areas, grounds, and amenities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of the property grounds, common areas, and amenities. Pick up trash and debris throughout the community on a daily basis. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Sweep, mop, and clean sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, laundry facilities, and clubhouse areas. Clean and maintain pool areas, picnic areas, playgrounds, and other community amenities. Assist with apartment turns by removing trash, debris, and abandoned items from vacant units. Perform basic landscaping duties, including watering plants, pulling weeds, and trimming shrubs as directed. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and property damage to management. Assist maintenance staff with minor tasks and community improvement projects. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
