Grounds Person CDL A or B

Job Description:

A ground person is an experienced laborer capable of manually lifting branches and other large and small pieces of wood from the tree to the truck, chipper or designated location. Assisting the tree climber, using various hand and power tools and cleaning the job site.

Job Requirements:

Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. Dependability and good work ethics. Operates as part of a crew with supporting Climber. Responsible to assist in the proper maintenance, preparation and operation of all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws and chippers. Be professional and courteous to all staff, and customers. Ability to exercise common-sense decision making. Have a "Team Player" attitude. Practice good safety awareness. Ability to work in various climatic conditions. Follow instruction. Practice good communication skills.

First Aid / CPR EHAT Proper use of PPE CDL A or B All personnel must pass their background check as well as a drug check in order to be hired and to remain on the job. Regular and random drug and alcohol tests will be administered throughout employment. All personnel must provide their own good condition steel toe lace-up safety boots and must arrive with a valid driver's license or sufficient identification to satisfy the requirement of form I-9. All personnel must be reasonably proficient in the English language .
