Duties Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep turf healthy and lush Maintain gardens and planting beds through pruning, planting, watering, mulching, and seasonal clean-up Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to perform precise landscaping tasks Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and hedge cutters safely and effectively Manage landscape construction projects like installing hardscape features (patios, walkways) and planting new greenery Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal with proper techniques and safety protocols Operate equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation tasks Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure clear pathways and safe access for all visitors Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making necessary repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules Perform routine grounds maintenance including trash removal, debris clearing, and general upkeep of outdoor areas Experience Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment such as excavators and power tools safely Familiarity with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control is desirable Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health, soil management, and landscape design is a plus Experience with tree care practices like trimming and pruning ensures safe handling of large trees Ability to operate construction machinery such as excavators adds value to larger project work Strong understanding of landscape maintenance routines combined with good physical stamina ensures efficient task completion Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments that inspire pride!
