Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Gardener and bring outdoor spaces to life with vibrant plantings, lush lawns, and meticulously maintained landscapes! In this role, you will be responsible for creating, cultivating, and maintaining beautiful gardens, lawns, and green spaces that inspire and delight. Your expertise in horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance will help transform outdoor environments into thriving, sustainable ecosystems. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in farming and landscaping, and contribute to the beautification of our community. Responsibilities Plant, prune, water, fertilize, and care for a variety of plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers using hand tools and power tools. Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, aerating, overseeding, and applying lawn care treatments to ensure healthy growth. Implement irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency and plant health across different landscape areas. Conduct greenhouse activities such as planting seedlings, transplanting young plants, and managing climate conditions for optimal growth. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mulching, weed control, soil preparation, and pest management to keep outdoor spaces pristine. Assist with farming activities like soil tilling, planting crops or ornamental plants, and harvesting when necessary. Support landscape design projects by preparing sites and installing features such as pathways or garden beds under supervision. Requirements Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of plant care techniques. Knowledge of irrigation systems and greenhouse operations to support plant health indoors and outdoors. Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing equipment operation and fertilization methods. Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively. Experience working with landscaping or farming equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk or lift for extended periods.
