JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces, including commercial and road side, streetscapes, and medians by performing lawn care, planting, trimming, irrigation maintenance, and general landscape upkeep. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Mow, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery Trim hedges, bushes, and trees Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from properties Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters Assist with irrigation installation and maintenance Apply mulch, fertilizer, and other landscaping materials as directed Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment properly Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred but not required Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds Knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment is a plus Valid driver's license preferred Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong work ethic and attention to detail

WORKING CONDITIONS

Constant outside exposure to wind, rain, cold and extreme heat and humidity. Able to kneel, stoop, bend, push, pull, lift, carry and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Able to stand for long periods of time. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license. Able to follow verbal and written instructions. Some relevant experience.
