Commercial Landscaper (Must Be Licensed)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Landscaper to join our team. This role involves performing a wide range of landscaping duties including installation, maintenance, irrigation work, and job site coordination. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about California landscaping standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform landscape installation and maintenance (planting, sod, irrigation, hardscape support) Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) safely and efficiently Read and execute landscape plans and specifications Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs Ensure job sites meet safety and quality standards Communicate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:

Valid California driver's license with clean driving record California C-27 Landscaping Contractor License (required for supervisory or contractor-level roles) Knowledge of California plant types, irrigation systems, and water-use regulations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor 2+ years of commercial landscaping experience preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with commercial properties (HOAs, office parks, retail centers) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Familiarity with sustainable landscaping practices and drought-tolerant design

Important Licensing Note:

In California, individuals performing or overseeing landscaping projects valued at $500 or more (labor and materials combined) must hold a valid C-27 Landscaping Contractor License issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
