A Groundskeeper, under the supervision of the Director of Agronomy and Lake & Grounds Manager, will perform golf course ground maintenance duties. The duties of a Groundskeeper include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain greens, trees, fairways, vegetation, and landscaped areas. Prepare and maintain golf course grounds according to standards. Mow greens, trees/aprons, and the ability to use larger mowing equipment. Prepare and plant sod, trees, shrubs, and flowers. Clean and perform routine maintenance on ground maintenance equipment and tools. Operate riding and pushing mowers, weed-eater, blowers, edgers, trimmers, over seeders, rototillers, sod cutters, wood-chippers, hand and power tools, and other ground maintenance tools and equipment. Perform other duties, as assigned by Property or Corporate Management Ability to learn methods in performing general grounds maintenance and reconstruction work. Understand and follow oral and written directions. Ability to work unsupervised. Work in a temperature extreme environment Ability to finish tasks with a high degree of quality and in a timely manner. Be a team player. Excellent organizational skills Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
