Landscape Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance with some installation. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, including residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Duties Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools for various landscaping tasks such as digging, planting, and building garden features. Conduct tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees and shrubs. Assist in the installation of new plants, flowers, and garden beds to enhance outdoor spaces. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic mechanical knowledge. Ensure all work areas are clean and safe by properly disposing of debris and waste materials. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with landscaping equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all landscaping tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
