Groundskeeper and Landscaper

Job Overview Join our dynamic groundskeeping and landscaping team to help create and maintain beautiful, functional outdoor environments. As a Groundskeeper and Landscaper, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces through hands-on maintenance, landscaping projects, and landscape enhancements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and contribute to vibrant, well-kept landscapes that inspire and delight. Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas looking pristine. Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks, adjusting controllers, and ensuring proper water distribution across landscaped areas. Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for planting, weeding, soil preparation, and other gardening tasks. Conduct horticultural activities including planting new greenery, mulching beds, fertilizing plants, and caring for lawns to promote healthy growth. Perform landscape repairs and general maintenance tasks to preserve the integrity of outdoor features. Assist with landscape design projects by preparing sites and implementing planting plans under supervision. Skills Proficiency in irrigation system management and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, pruning, fertilization, and pest control. Experience with gardening techniques and horticulture principles to support plant health. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high standards of quality. Familiarity with landscaping procedures such as planting, mulching, soil preparation, and landscape installation. Excellent maintenance skills with attention to detail in cleaning up work areas and equipment. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects and perform manual labor efficiently.
