Field Technician Summer Part-Time

Inspiration Metropolitan District, Aurora, CO This is a great seasonal role for college students on break or anyone looking for flexible, part-time outdoor work. We offer a flexible weekday schedule (20-30 hours per week) as long as you are reliable, show up consistently, and take ownership of your work. Availability from mid-May through mid-August is preferred, with the option to extend through September. You'll work outdoors helping maintain parks, trails, and community spaces, while supporting light maintenance and small projects. No prior experience required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. What You'll Do Walk and inspect parks, trails, natural areas, and community amenities Perform light maintenance including sweeping, minor repairs, cobble reset, weeding, trail maintenance, painting, graffiti removal, and general upkeep Operate utility vehicles and golf carts safely Use hand and power tools to support maintenance and repair work Identify and report landscaping, safety, and amenity issues Assist with basic irrigation checks and minor adjustments (training provided) Support small projects to keep the community clean and well-maintained Interact professionally with residents Additional duties may be assigned as needed What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions and varied weather Willing to learn basic maintenance and irrigation tasks Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Able to follow direction and complete tasks thoroughly Adaptable with a strong attendance record and professional demeanor Requirements Must be at least 18 years old; high school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation to and from the work site Ability to pass a criminal background check Physical & Work Environment Work is outdoors and involves walking on uneven terrain Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent driving and walking throughout the community Use of maintenance equipment including vehicles, hand tools, and power tools All work must follow established schedules and safety policies

Pay:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
