Groundsman tree care

Duties Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety. Support rigging operations by securing tools and branches during tree removal or pruning projects. Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to assist with mapping and site planning for tree care projects. Maintain equipment includinghand tools, and safety gear, ensuring they are in excellent working condition. Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure team safety. Qualifications Growing experience or background in horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture preferred. Basic knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming, pruning, and planting. Familiarity with rigging techniques for safely lowering branches or debris. Ability to operate bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Nice-to-have skills include GIS proficiency, lawn care experience, landscape maintenance knowledge, and certifications related to horticulture or arboriculture.
