Job Description
Duties Overview The Tree Care Groungsman plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces. This position involves a variety of tasks focused on tree care and overall grounds upkeep. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working outdoors and be willing to learn. Perform regular tree care activities including chipping brush, dragging brush, raking yards, and cutting brush with a chainsaw. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and pruning to enhance the visual appeal of the grounds. Provide tree care services including tree trimming, removal of dead branches, and general upkeep to promote tree health. Operate various equipment such as chip trucks, mini skids and stump grinders. Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and necessary repairs. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
