In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining irrigation systems, performing precise mowing and lawn care tasks, and supporting overall landscape upkeep. Your proactive approach and technical skills will ensure that properties are beautifully maintained, efficiently irrigated, and safe for all visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping, horticulture, and construction while contributing to vibrant outdoor environments. Responsibilities Operate and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and system performance Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general lawn care using power tools and hand tools to achieve a neat appearance Maintain landscape features by pruning, planting, fertilizing, and applying pest control measures as needed Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components, landscape structures, and equipment to identify issues early Maintain detailed records of work performed, system adjustments, and maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems and power tools Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, edging Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and horticultural principles Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, pruners, and rakes; familiarity with power tools like trimmers and blowers Ability to operate small construction equipment such as excavators for installation or repair tasks Understanding of landscaping design principles and plant health care Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments who want to grow their skills in irrigation technology, lawn care, and landscape maintenance. We value safety, precision, and a positive work ethic—qualities that help us deliver exceptional outdoor spaces every day. You must have a current Driver's License and working transportation. Your resume must show your experience with irrigation systems and commercial mowing equipment. This is also a seasonal job. Work usually ends around Oct/Nov, but starts back up around March/April/May.

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
