Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as laying hardscape features such as patios and walkways. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as trimming, pruning, digging, and general maintenance. Operate equipment including excavators and snow plows during seasonal weather changes to ensure safe and attractive outdoor environments year-round. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as irrigation system installation and repair, tree trimming, and horticultural care to promote plant health. Support construction projects by assisting with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to ensure smooth project flow. Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety standards are met while maximizing efficiency on the job site. Experience Prior experience working with landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is highly valued. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, excavators, or other construction equipment is a plus. Knowledge of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, tree care techniques including trimming and pruning, or irrigation systems will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently when operating machinery such as excavators or snow plows. Experience in gardening or landscape maintenance demonstrates a commitment to quality outdoor work. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions are essential for success in this energetic role.
