Lawn Care Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lawn Care Worker to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes by performing a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude will help ensure our clients' properties look their best year-round. Responsibilities Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power equipment to achieve a clean, even cut. Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power tools such as trimmers and shears to maintain aesthetic appeal. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, weeding, planting, and mulching to enhance garden beds and lawns. Operate equipment like excavators and other machinery safely for tasks such as soil preparation or hardscape installation. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep walkways and driveways clear of snow and ice. Assist with general construction projects related to landscaping or hardscape features such as patios or walkways. Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools used in landscaping and maintenance. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with heavy machinery like excavators is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques including trimming and pruning, and irrigation systems. Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of property appearance.
