Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

SUMMARY Duck Pond Landscaping is looking for dependable and hardworking Lawn Maintenance Crew Members to join our team. Whether you're experienced or just getting started in the industry, we offer hands-on training, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to grow with a reputable company. As a crew member, you'll work on a variety of residential and commercial properties performing lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, mulching, and seasonal cleanups. You'll work closely with your crew leader and teammates to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

Mow, trim, edge, and blow lawns using professional-grade equipment Assist with mulch installations, bed edging, bush trimming, and seasonal cleanups Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and responsibly Follow directions from Crew Leader and contribute to a productive workday Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any issues or needed repairs Work as part of a team to complete daily routes and tasks efficiently Help uphold a professional and courteous company image on job sites Perform other duties as needed to support landscape maintenance operations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred) Lawn care or landscaping experience (Preferred but not required) Valid Driver's License (Preferred) Training provided on-site by Crew Leader

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Must be comfortable with the physical nature of outdoor work

Full-time, Seasonal Salary:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday (Fridays as needed, with Saturdays as a weather backup)
