Landscaper/Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various landscaping tasks including tree care, plowing, landscape maintenance, mowing, tree trimming, and hardscape projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and beautifying landscapes by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
• Assist in tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal
• Participate in hardscape projects such as installing walkways, patios, and retaining walls
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Dig trenches for irrigation systems or other landscape installations
• Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months

Experience:

• Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and equipment is a plus
• Ability to operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning is desirable
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
