This energetic position involves assisting with a wide range of landscaping projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and excavators safely and efficiently. Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction projects. Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with repairs as needed. Prepare sites by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting up materials for landscaping or construction projects. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff. Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing. Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is required.
