In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance the natural environment and meet client expectations. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces through skilled planting, hardscape installation, and ongoing landscape maintenance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in horticulture and construction, and contribute to visually stunning landscapes. Duties Perform landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy turf growth Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, pruning, and landscape shaping Conduct landscape maintenance activities including irrigation system installation and repair, tree care, and seasonal snow plowing when applicable Use machinery such as excavators for larger construction projects or site preparation Perform routine horticultural tasks like pruning trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations while delivering high-quality results Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools including hand tools, power tools, and machinery like excavators Expertise in lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including irrigation systems, tree trimming, gardening, and snow plowing Experience with hardscape construction projects involving stonework or concrete installations Ability to perform general construction tasks related to outdoor projects with precision and safety awareness Familiarity with horticulture principles to support plant health and landscape design goals Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions along with the ability to operate equipment safely Join our team to help craft vibrant outdoor environments that inspire pride!
