Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, and aerating to promote healthy growth Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks Use power tools and equipment like trimmers, blowers, and small excavators (excavator experience preferred) to complete project requirements Perform landscape maintenance duties such as pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and applying mulch or soil amendments Conduct irrigation system inspections and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible Follow safety protocols while handling equipment like lawnmowers, power tools, and construction machinery Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping machinery and tools confidently Experience in lawn care practices such as mowing and trimming Strong background in landscape maintenance including pruning, tree care (trimming and removal), and gardening techniques Familiarity with landscaping principles for softscape (plants) Ability to use hand tools effectively for planting, digging, trimming or repair work Experience with snow plowing equipment during winter seasons is a plus Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong teamwork skills combined with attention to detail for quality results This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
