Tree Trimmer/Groundsperson

As part of our tree crew you are responsible for adhering to our company policies, observing all safety requirements while on and off job sites, and aiding in the overall cleanliness, customer satisfaction and productivity at the job sites. We are actively looking for all experience levels for our tree removal services.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all safety and set-up for the job has been completed Knowledge of chain saw maintenance, stump grinder maintenance and chipper maintenance General knowledge of crane operations Lining up branches and piling appropriately for loading into the Chipper Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and making sure all trash and items are discarded properly Reliable ground support for the Climbers/Bucket operators and understanding of visual cues from all team members to ensure swift, detailed, and safe actions to complete the job Qualifications Strong work ethic Valid Driver's license (CDL preferred) Honest and Reliable Detailed individuals that are self starters Excellent communication skills (verbal & hand) Ability to recognize and identify potential hazards Must have knowledge of the following: basic knots and rope operations, cabling, bracing, advanced chain saw use and felling techniques, chipper use, stump grinder use, lift and boom use, tree identification
