Job Description

Join a dynamic and customer-focused team as a Garden Center Install Coordinator, where you will play a key role in ensuring the successful installation of plant materials sold through our garden center. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working both in the field and in a leadership capacity, coordinating projects from start to finish. The Garden Center Install Coordinator is responsible for organizing installation crews, managing project timelines, and delivering high-quality results that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the installation of plant materials sold through the garden center. Organize and direct installation crews to ensure efficient and accurate completion of projects. Provide clear expectations, installation notes, and job instructions to crews. Ensure crews understand layout, plant placement, installation standards, and any additional scope of work. Schedule jobs based on crew availability, material readiness, customer expectations, and weather conditions. Review sold plant jobs and ensure all project details are organized and ready for installation. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process, addressing questions and concerns professionally. Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams before, during, and after installations. Visit or review installation areas to determine if additional work is needed prior to planting. Create quotes for small landscape enhancements or site preparation work as needed. Act as project manager for installation projects, coordinating labor, materials, scheduling, and field execution. Ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget, and according to company standards. Anticipate and resolve potential issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Comply with and enforce all safety rules and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of landscape practices and procedures. At least one year of experience in landscaping or a related field. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Aspire software is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently, thoroughly, and follow directions. Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple moving parts at once. Leadership mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Customer-focused and able to communicate professionally with clients. Comfortable with technology. Knowledgeable in plant material and installation standards. Valid drivers license. Ability to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and pull for prolonged periods. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Regular, dependable attendance required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
