Irrigation Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic irrigation maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. This position has opportunity for advancement and full time. Responsibilities Install new irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of existing irrigation setups to prevent malfunctions and ensure efficient operation. Troubleshoot issues with irrigation components including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinkler heads; perform repairs or replacements as needed. Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal changes, weather conditions, and specific landscape requirements. Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into overall landscape design and maintenance plans. Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system modifications for ongoing monitoring and reporting. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in irrigation system installation and repair. Familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators. Prior experience in outdoor maintenance or landscaping roles is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
