Summary:

The Landscape Technician performs advanced landscape maintenance, horticultural care, and equipment operation across the island's residential and common areas. This position is ideal for a seasoned landscape professional with experience in machinery operation, plant management, and detailed grounds work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a variety of heavy and light equipment including skid steers, compact tractors, loaders, and dump trailers.
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching to professional standards.
• Assist with grading, drainage, and material transport for landscape enhancement projects.
• Apply advanced horticultural techniques suited to the Southwest Florida environment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on assigned equipment.
• Support project installation and seasonal property improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a professional work ethic at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required.
• Some experience operating heavy equipment and large mowing units.
• Ability to read and follow landscape plans and instructions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
