Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Maintenance Landscaper with a passion for outdoor beautification and landscape upkeep. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Bilingual candidates, especially those who speak Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators for planting, grading, or hardscape installation. Maintain lawns through fertilization, aeration, watering, and pest control to promote healthy growth. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe. Support construction projects involving hardscape features like patios or walkways while adhering to safety standards. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation. Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavators safely and effectively. Prior experience in construction or outdoor maintenance environments preferred. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred to facilitate communication with diverse team members and clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is advantageous.
