In accordance with the President's vision, SQE mission and strategic plan, the Experienced Open Cut Underground worker for a given project assists the Utility Supervisor and crew to successfully complete utility installations. Other duties as assigned. This role requires 3+/- years of previous experience in storm sewer, sanitary and watermain construction. Reports directly to the Utility Supervisor. Specific Qualifications Proven track record of consistent safe work practices including trench boxes, heavy structures, and other live utilities Ability to control grade and set pipe to proper elevations Ability to lift 75 pounds Ability to take direction and work together as a crew Ability to read and interpret project plans Responsible for good communication with crew to ensure quality installation of the pipes Strong attention to detail is required Familiarity with potholing for existing utilities Has a good understanding of the process and tools needed for utility construction Open Positions Lead/Supervisor Excavator Operator Loader Operator Pipe Layers Top Laborer Background check and drug test are required to work onsite. Safe work environment with competitive pay, per diem (if out of area) on a unique job site.
