Overview Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our residential community. This energetic position involves performing landscape maintenance, lawn care, and grounds upkeep to create an inviting environment for residents and visitors alike. Your hands-on skills with gardening, landscaping, and maintenance will help ensure the grounds remain pristine, vibrant, and welcoming year-round. Responsibilities Maintain the landscaping by mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and ensuring healthy growth through proper horticultural practices Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform tasks such as edging, pruning, aerating, and installing irrigation systems Conduct regular landscape maintenance to keep outdoor areas clean, tidy, and aesthetically appealing Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Perform routine lawn care tasks including fertilizing, weed control, and pest management to promote healthy turf Assist with general groundskeeping duties such as trash removal, debris clearing, and seasonal cleanups Support landscaping projects by planting new greenery or upgrading existing features to enhance curb appeal Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape best practices is a plus Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment safely and effectively Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward groundskeeping responsibilities Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with property management staff and vendors This role offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your landscaping expertise while contributing to a vibrant community environment.
