Job Description
Exterior Container Gardener / Horticultural Technician $20-$22/hr starting, based on experience Plant-care specialist role (no mowing or general landscaping) Retired and semi-retired nursery/greenhouse professionals encouraged Stable year-round position, 4-day work week Responsibilities Maintain container gardens, ornamental plantings, and green roofs Perform seasonal planting and display rotations Water, prune, fertilize, and manage plant health Identify and manage pests and diseases Monitor irrigation systems Maintain high standards of plant quality and visual presentation Qualifications 3+ years horticulture experience (nursery, greenhouse, garden center, or similar agriculture background required) Strong plant identification and care knowledge Ability to work independently with attention to detail Valid driver's license with clean driving record Consistent work history. Repeated short-term or unrelated job changes will not be a strong match for this company.
