In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold the high standards of our organization's appearance and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting common areas. Maintain outdoor grounds by mowing lawns, trimming bushes, raking leaves, and removing debris to keep the premises tidy and attractive. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors to ensure they remain in excellent condition. Carry out custodial tasks including restroom sanitation, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met consistently. Support facilities maintenance by inspecting and reporting any repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues. Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and industrial cleaning tools safely and effectively. Assist with light painting or minor repair tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is preferred. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and facilities maintenance tasks is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
