Full-Time Grounds Attendant/Clubhouse Attendant/Maintenance Duties Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday Hours:

9:00 am to 5:00 pm (35 hours per week, $17 per hour) Province Park seeks an energetic, dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of our community's Campus and Clubhouse spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for helping the staff present a Welcoming and Well-Maintained Campus and Clubhouse at Province Park.

Key Responsibilities:

Clubhouse Plant Care:

Tend to flowerbeds, fertilize plants, mulch, and plant/water flowers and shrubs, with occasional application of weed control.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate weed trimmers, lawn blowers, hedge trimmers, tree trimmers, and an assortment of power tools, including pressure washers, as well as basic gardening hand tools. Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance to assure proper operation.

Debris Control:

Pickup palm fronds throughout the common areas and communities on a regular schedule. Raking leaves, collecting trash, emptying trash containers, and debris pickup from common areas, walkways, and around lake banks.

Amenities & Facilities Maintenance:

Cleaning and maintaining sidewalks, driveways, planters, fountains, benches, and Clubhouse buildings and restrooms.

Clubhouse Special Functions:

Perform/Assist in setup/tear down of tables and chairs at the Clubhouse for Social/Special functions and HOA Board meetings.

Clubhouse Pool Area Upkeep:

Clean the swimming pool deck area daily, as well as daily cleaning of the pool furniture and grill area.

Reporting & Communication:

Regular inspection of campus grounds for any maintenance issues and reporting any safety concerns to the supervisory team; always converse professionally with residents.

Safety Compliance:

Follow departmental safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and always handle equipment/hand/power tools in a safe manner. Handle wet/dry chemicals for routine fountain maintenance and weed control. Personal Protective Equipment is required during work hours.

Physical Ability:

Stand for extended periods of time while working. Ability to bend and lift at least 40 pounds. And Other Duties as Assigned. Province Park is in Fort Myers, Florida, on a spacious, well-maintained campus. May be subject to a random drug test and must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have valid drivers license.
