This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, plant care, and equipment operation. Your hands-on approach will help transform landscapes into vibrant, healthy environments that stand out. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscape features, or managing irrigation systems, your contributions will make a lasting impact on our clients' properties. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects Identify different plant species and assess their health to recommend appropriate care or treatment Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly following safety guidelines to protect plants and the environment Assist with construction projects involving hardscape installation, garden beds, or other landscape features Skills Ability to work outside for several hours and ability to lift at least 50-70 pounds reliably. Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and lawn care techniques. (Preferred not required) Knowledge of pesticide management practices for safe application and environmental protection(Preferred not required) Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair procedures(Preferred not required) Basic understanding of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment(Preferred not required) Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks Good physical stamina for outdoor work in diverse weather conditions Neccessities Must have a Florida Drivers License Must have Proof of Citizenship and Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation in the event it is needed.
