Job Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Lawn Helper, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, well-maintained environments. In this role, you'll assist with a variety of lawn care and landscaping tasks, ensuring our clients' properties look their absolute best. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and outdoor equipment operation while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Assist with mowing lawns using power tools and lawn equipment to achieve a clean, professional appearance. Support landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, aerating, and soil preparation. Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Participate in snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways and driveways accessible. Aid in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls under supervision. Perform routine garden care including planting flowers, mulching beds, and maintaining overall garden health. Experience Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively. Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is advantageous. Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is beneficial. Experience with tree care activities like trimming or pruning helps support safe tree management practices. A background in construction or horticulture can enhance your ability to contribute across various projects. Ability to follow safety procedures when working with equipment like irrigation systems or snow plows is essential. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor maintenance.
